Careers & Employability at Two Rivers School
Two Rivers school is committed to enabling all students, regardless of ability, to make well informed, realistic and ambitious decisions about future learning and careers pathways. The school strives to raise learners’ aspirations, enabling them to investigate a broad spectrum of potential opportunities. The school’s curriculum is designed to focus on the development of social and communication skills that promote the growth of practical employability skills. We aim to support students towards their future goals, helping to prepare them for the next stage of their life journey, whether that be in employment or at another educational or social provider.
We work alongside a number of partners in educational establishments and the wider community. We strive to ensure that we provide support and guidance for all our learners to investigate and prepare for the broad spectrum of opportunities that await them beyond their time at Two Rivers School.
The school’s careers programme is assessed and evaluated on a termly basis, taking into account feedback from students, parents, staff and outside partners. The school’s careers policy and Careers programme is available on our website. These are updated annually at the end of each school year.
