About Us
Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Two Rivers High School, a vibrant and inclusive community where every student is valued and supported to achieve their full potential. We are proud to be a generic special school for pupils aged 11-19 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Our nurturing environment promotes independence, confidence, and lifelong learning, celebrating individuality for those with a range of needs.
I am extremely proud to be Acting Headteacher at Two Rivers High School. With 18 years’ experience in education and specialist SEND expertise, it is a privilege to lead such a thriving school. Alongside my teaching background, I hold leadership qualifications including NPQH and CMI Educational Leadership, equipping me to guide our dedicated team.
Our values—Build Relationships, Nurture and Care, Grow Together, Enjoy and Achieve—shape everything we do. Through positive relationships and a deeply supportive ethos, our pupils flourish. We grow and learn together, embracing new opportunities and enjoying the journey, because when learning is joyful, achievement naturally follows.
In February 2024, Ofsted recognised Two Rivers as an inspirational community where staff “see beyond SEND to the unique qualities of each pupil” and respond with “understanding and patience,” ensuring every child thrives.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to empowering every student to embrace their potential and leave Two Rivers ready to make a positive difference in their community and beyond. Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you find the information helpful and that it gives you a sense of the warm, supportive ethos that makes Two Rivers High School such a special place.
